The trailer gives away a large extent of the plot

It begins with quite a slow pace but picks up as both main protagonists are established

The titles make reference to the fact that the film is based on a well known book and gives titles of other books written by Jane Austen

It also makes reference that the film is produced by the some producers who made Love Actually, which plays to the viewers prior knowledge

When the trailer signifies that the protagonist has changed her feelings towards Mr Darcy the non-diegetic music also changes, it becomes more romantic and reminiscent giving anchorage to the viewer of how the character feels
